Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Institute of Cognitive Modeling, together with the Institute for Global Transformation (Brussels) and partners, has organized a number of events to draw the international community’s attention to the war in Ukraine.
«Europe Day for Ukraine»: Thousands march and concert in support of Ukraine in the capital of Europe
On May 8, 2022, on the occasion of Europe Day in Ukraine, a march was organized along the central streets of Brussels and a charity concert near the building of the European Parliament in support of Ukraine.
The event was attended by more than 2.5 thousand people who together raised more than 22 thousand euros to help Ukraine.
Ukrainians and Europeans came out with flags and slogans «Ukraine is Europe», «Stop Russian gas», «Be brave – be like Ukraine», «Ukraine needs Europe».
Belgian performers and Ukrainian music stars joined the charity concert. Among them Tina Karol, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Yevhen Klopotenko, Lydiya Taran, Jerry Heil and the Go_A band.

«Stop Bloody Energy»: artistic performance and protest against energy companies financing the war in Ukraine
On May 23, 2022, together with the Stop Bloody Energy Initiative, a protest «Time to choose your path» and an artistic performance «Lullaby» were held in Davos to call on international businesses and energy companies to stop financing the war in Ukraine.
Dozens of activists from Ukraine and Europe joined in with placards asking businesses if they were ready to «sell» the lives of innocent people to make money in Russia. Ukrainian artist Daria Koltsova has materialized statistics on the real losses of children during the war months. The event was held during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
